These Spiders from Mars are in Fine Araneiform - The Cosmic Companion
One of the oddest mysteries of Mars may now be solved. Araneiforms, popularly known as spiders from Mars, are geological structures resembling arachnids. These structures, seen at the south pole of Mars, can stretch up to 100 meters, or 330 feet, from side-to-side. Researchers at Open University found similar patterns are produced when frozen carbon dioxide meets a warm bed similar to the Martian crust when it is heated during springtime on Mars.
